Why is anyone voting for Trump?

First off let me start by saying, NO, I do not support Clinton. I do not think Clinton would make a great president, and I do not endorse her in anyway. I feel like I have to say this, because anytime anyone says anything against Trump, then everyone assumes that person is automatically a Clinton supporter.

So why is anyone even considering voting for Trump? I constantly hear that he tells it how it is, that he is the only candidate that is not a politician, but a real businessman, and all this shit. Well for one, if he is not a politician, then why the hell should I put any trust in him when he tries to do a politician's job? and two, if he is running for president, has hired campaign managers, and teams to help mold his image, to convince you to cast a vote in HIS favor, then guess what, the man is a politician. That means that like every other politicians you are going to get the same kind of empty rhetoric that comes with trying to get you to vote for them. All those empty promises they spew forth in order to get us to place a checkmark next to their goddam name. He is a politician.

He is also clearly NOT presidential material. For one, he is incredibly divisive. I mean one of the first things we hear from him around the time that he declared his intent to run for president, is that Mexicans are rapists, drug dealers, criminals....oh but yeah "some" he assumes are good people. This is one of the things that should scare us about when Donald Trump speaks, he is incredibly divisive. See the issue as he portrays it (not what he means, or what he meant to say, no..how his words portray it) is that our immigration issue, is not an immigration issue..it is a MEXICAN issue. Mexican immigration is the issue. Actually let me make a correction here it is not a MEXICAN issue, it is a LATIN AMERICAN issue...the Mexican border just happens to be the border they cross as they come to this country to DESTROY, DRUG, AND RAPE the population. The same goes when he talks about Islam. As he portrays it, the issue is not Islamic Extremism, it is Islam itself. Per his words, Islam is an ideology we should fear, not the act of religious extremism no matter the religion, seemingly forgetting that those monsters in Al-Qaeda, ISIS, or HAMAS do not represent Islam as whole. He seems to forget that in that battle against extremist Islam we also have Muslim allies that fight, and die EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. Did he not watch a Jordanian pilot be burned alive? A Muslim Jordanian pilot burned alive for fighting against the daesh. What about the Kurdish fighters, a majority of which are Sunni Muslim, who fight day in and day out against Muslim extremist? Did he forget them? I haven't.

Trumps rhetoric is dangerous, it is that kind of rhetoric which has lead to Britain seeing an increase in hate crimes after "brexit". It is that kind of rhetoric which is going to ensure that I will be staying armed at all times, if Trump is elected. Reddit user makes a good point in his post when he says "If a presidential candidate keeps telling people that Arab immigrants are a danger, we cannot be surprised when the day comes that a murderous racist eventually takes him at face value. That day was yesterday." As he talks about the murder of Khalid Jabara at the hands of a racist which I will not be naming (because fuck that guy).

If his divisive words, and his lack of a filter when speaking publicly are not enough of a reason to even make you question this man's ability to govern then let's take a look at his history.

In his recent attempt to win the "Black vote", Trump commented that the Black community have "No education, no healthcare, no anything" , yet when asked what he could do for the black community all he said is "Get jobs"...

Really? I feel like Trump has made this promise before though, you know...the promise to make jobs. In fact, read about his broken promises for yourself. Read about how he promised to hire locals from Indiana, where he promised to hire locals from the minority community to fill up to 70% of the jobs in his casino. In fact the minorities he did hire were given mostly service jobs such as valets, janitors, etc. Cushier jobs were not so readily handed out to local minorities though. In fact, if you read the article, you will see that Trump promised to fill 67% of the jobs with Gary residents (the local town) and 90% of the jobs with members of the local county. He reneged on the agreement he had with the city, and failed to meet his end of the bargain.

It's ok though, I am sure that was an isolated incident, I am sure that Trump is not the racist he has been made out to be by the supposed "Liberal Media". Except when you take into consideration this passage from an article in the New York times, talking about the "Death and Life of Atlantic City"

“When Donald and Ivana came to the casino, the bosses would order all the black people off the floor,” he said. “It was the eighties, I was a teen-ager, but I remember it: they put us all in the back.”

Or this passage taken from a book written by one of his former executives where Trump is quoted as saying

“I’ve got black accountants at Trump Castle and Trump Plaza. Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day… . I think the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.“

Given this history, I am sure he will do all he can to "get jobs" for the African-American community. Clearly his track record shows he has been doing all he can to help minorities in the communities in which he has opened his businesses in. I want to be very clear though, I am not arguing for affirmative action, I believe jobs should be given to those best qualified for the job, HOWEVER, if you enter a community, talk to community leaders, and promise to hire locally for up to 70% of available jobs, then you should uphold your goddam promise.

Trump has a clear history of not upholding his promises, as well as discrimination. So again, I ask..how can anyone even consider voting for this guy?

Here are some more resources for you to look at
Trump refuses to rent to black renters
3 years later guess what, still wont rent to blacks
Says he will provide jobs to the black community when he wont even cast black models

But hey, at least he doesn't have a record of his rivals, enemies, business partners showing up dead under suspicious circumstances.
